Based in Hong Kong, Alex is a Partner working across Consumer and Technology.
Born and raised in Sweden Alexander de Freitas has spent close to 15 years in Greater China, including a decade in Shanghai, and is based in Hong Kong since 2021.
For the last decade Alexander has advised his clients on executive talent attraction, in the consumer and technology spaces, and where they intersect. Alexander has wide experience both in helping MNCs in Asia, and Asian companies going global – from PE/VC backed companies, to listed and family-owned.Alexander speaks English, Swedish, Mandarin Chinese, and has a good understanding of Danish and Norwegian.
He has been actively engaged in the Swedish business community in China, most recently as Board Director for Swedcham Hong Kong, as well as a regular commenter on China current events in Swedish media.
